Inner City
Outings is part of the national Sierra Club Inner
City Outings (ICO), an outreach program of the Sierra Club in Madison,
Wisconsin. ICO offers hiking and camping trips, boating
and skiing outings, and other outdoor adventures to urban youth

Our partnering agencies are the Boys
and Girls Club of Dane County, Bridge Lake
Point Waunona Neighborhood Center, Goodman
Atwood Community Center, Kennedy
Heights Community Center, Vera Court Neighborhood Center,
and the Dane County Juvenile Shelter
Home. We are lucky to be working with
these wonderful community organizations.
Most of the groups provide after-school and summer
programs for youth from elementary through high school. We coordinate with
agency staff to plan and implement a range of outdoor activities that are
in line with our mission and the needs of the organization.
